Tactic to get unstuck: Sleep on it
I’ve stayed up late at night too many times, toiling away on a bug.
It wasn’t effective. It’s not a rite of passage.
Even if it isn’t late at night, sometimes an effective way to solve a bug is to sleep on it.
Most bugs can wait until the next morning. You’ll be rested, refreshed, and have given your subconscious a chance to work on it.
